National Etruscan Museum of art was established in 1889 and now taking place in Villa Giulia, which was built at the behest of Pope Julius II (1550-1555).

It was constructed by many great artists such as Michelangelo, Vignola or Giorgio Vasari as decorating was under the painters Giovanni da Udine or Zuccari brothers.

National Etruscan Museum has beautiful collections of terracotta statues of Etruscan art.
