This delightful Chapel begun by Pope Sixtus IV between 1475-1481. The walls of Sistine Chapel are ornated by scenes of stories from Genesis, the Prophets and the Ancestors of Christ. The Sistine Chapel is decorated by many famous artist as Sandro Botticeli, Perugino, and of course Michelangelo – The Last Judgement, Beato Angelico, Ghirlandaio.

 

Raphael’s Rooms
Into one of Vatican Museums you can find Raphael’s Room, that are into four rooms (Hall of Constantine, Room of Heliodorus, Room of the Signatura and The Room of the Fire in the Borgo). Inside these amazing rooms is situated a large collection of Raphael works and his school (1508-1520), including one of the most famous Raphael’s frescoe – The School of Athens as well as Adam and Eve. In Raphael’s Rooms you can mainly admire the Renaissance frescoes.

The Laoccon, the marble statue, that shows Laocoon with his two sons being killed by sea serpents near a shrine, for not accepting the gift of the Trojan horse.
